Do you have a site that runs on Wordpress?Then you are extremely lucky as you can get a free plugin called HotSpots.This plugin actually create a heatmap of your site and that too,for free.
What is a HeatMap?
You must be wondering now that what is a heatmap.Well,heatmaps are actually a way of observing what areas of your site visitors are clicking.
I hope that you can already understand its implications.It can help you improve your ad layout,interact with your readers better etc.
The most popular service is given by CrazyEgg.But they are extremely costly.As an example,a site which has only 800 visitors per day will cost $19 per month.Ouch!
Solution-HotSpots
Thankfully,that's not the only service available.There is another solution to that and that is absolutely free. HotSpots is a plugin that shows an overlay over your website to show where visitors are clicking.
After you install the plugin on your Wordpress site,you must make sure that the ‘Enable drawing hotspots’ is checked. The plugin still tracks data if this is unchecked but you won’t be able to see clicks visually.
